To check the written image we will use again the "dd" command to copy the content of the SD Card to a new image file. The progress will be showed in the terminal where the dd command is running. To check the progress of image coping (that could take several minutes) you can open a new terminal and run: sudo pkill -USR1 -n -x dd Note that the "of" parameter, that is the output file of the dd command, must be the whole SD Card and not one of its partition.
